The new Diventures location in North Liberty, Iowa, is officially open for business. The state-of-the-art facility will bring a new swim program and expanded scuba and travel offerings to the growing area.

Located at 1895 West Penn Street, the new location includes an 8,000 square-foot scuba and swim center, an indoor heated pool ranging in depth from 3.5 to 14 feet, pool and air temperature at a steady 88-90 degrees, a retail store, a scuba service center, and a travel center. The location will offer activities for all ages and abilities, including group swim lessons for all ages, water fitness classes, onsite scuba
training, and much more.

“Our team is thrilled to open our new facility in North Liberty,” says Ryan Bruns, Diventures store manager. “The North Liberty community has shown tremendous interest in our scuba programs and this facility now gives us the ability to offer our comprehensive aquatics program.”

Area residents can be one of the first to check out the new facility, while getting to know the highly educated and experienced staff, at the grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, November 2.

“Our team is really proud of this facility and the long list of offerings we will provide to the entire Iowa City and Cedar Rapids corridor,” says Dean Hollis, founder of Diventures. “While we may be a bit landlocked here in the Midwest, demand for scuba and swim instruction has always been strong. We are excited to be able to expand to meet that demand, including with a variety of aquatics programs and a worldwide
travel program.”

To celebrate the opening, the Diventures team will be hosting a grand opening event on Saturday, November 2. The daylong event kicks off at 9 a.m. and includes special educational swim and scuba seminars, complimentary swim and scuba lessons, grand opening specials, family games and activities, raffle drawings with more than $4,600 in prizes including a dive trip to Fiji, as well as plenty of food and live music from the Funk Daddies to close out the day.
