Cedar Rapids is a vibrant city, encompassing unique attractions, exciting events, specialty shopping, a dynamic art scene, outdoor recreation, and a large variety of restaurant and nightlife options. Czech Village-New Bohemia

Cedar Rapids Public Library

The downtown library is a major destination in Cedar Rapids that goes far beyond just books. The library is an information center, a technology hub, a community gathering place, an early-learning resource, a LEED-Certified sustainable building, and so much more!

With over 4,000 acres of park and open space to explore, an expansive trail system, modern aquatic centers, sports complexes, and some of the best golf courses in Eastern Iowa, you’ll find an abundance of leisure opportunities for every season.

The Paramount Theatre is one of just 300 movie palaces left in the United States according to a story in USA Today. Built in the architecturally extravagant 1920's, the theatre annually hosts concerts, fundraisers, corporate meetings, dance recitals and a Broadway Series.

Cedar Rapids Ice Arena

This facility has two sheets of ice, NHL and Olympic regulation size, and is home of the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. They offer public skating as well as figure skating and hockey programs to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Brucemore National Historic Site

Brucemore’s 26-acre, park-like estate invites exploration of the site’s history, gardens, grounds, and 1886 mansion. This picturesque location in the heart of the City is a hub for tours, cultural events, and educational programs.
