Assistant Golf Professional – Elmcrest Country Club – Cedar Rapids, IA

Elmcrest Country Club is looking for a “team-minded, service-oriented” golf professional to join our team of PGA Professionals. The successful applicant will have a commitment to learn and grow. “Member-centric” service is a vital asset for success along with possessing an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities:

Train and supervise outside services staff.
Work with the Tournament Director to effectively manage member tournaments from start to finish.
Develop Jr. golfers in our Jr. Golf Program
Operate golf shop in absence of the Head Golf Professional.
Assumes Head Golf Professional’s duties or that of First Assistant in their absence.
Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations.
Interact with members and guests to provide high levels of hospitality.
Manage USGA handicap system for members.
Attends staff meetings.
Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Head Golf Professional
