Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time floor-carpet specialist/project worker. The position will be responsible for a wide array of tasks in different facilities. Tasks include windows, maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, as well as any client, requests that may come in.

Primary Job Duties:
Window cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, buffing, refinishing or sealing different types of hard-surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.

Carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.
Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.

Project work including new construction or client requests.

Essential Job Functions/Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable about the care of different types of commercial carpeting/flooring.
Must have a working knowledge of chemicals used for different types of commercial carpeting/flooring.
Must have the ability to operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards.
Must have the ability to work with other crew members and be able to take direction from Supervisor.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties which include lifting up to 75 lbs, pulling/pushing, bending, squatting, crawling, and being on feet the entire shift.

Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Background check required.

Must be able to work varied shifts and weekends.

Starting wage based on experience.
