The position will be responsible for assisting Engineering and Digital Technology teams with administrative, documentation, process and general cybersecurity related support activities. Individual must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple business functions and provide a wide variety of administrative and cybersecurity related tasks to manage the NIST, DFARS, and Cybersecurity controls and projects assigned. Acts as process and tool expert for these Engineering and Digital Technology teams. Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designated information system compliance at system level; including but not limited to cyber control analysis and selection, change control facilitation, hardware/software management, audit and inspection initiation and tracking, incident response and troubleshooting, etc.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and change control of the Authorization Packages to include System Security Plan and Plan of Action and Milestones documents for boundary defined programs and engineering lab spaces.

  • Provide guidance and assistance to the DFARS Security Advisor assigned to each program boundary or lab space.

  • Organize reauthorization efforts with assigned program managers and lab stakeholders to communicate, mitigate, and obtain approval to operate with associated cybersecurity risks.

  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders in regards to secure system status and security posture.

  • Possess and maintain technical competence and a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • DoD 8570-compliant industry certification at IAM Level I (Security+) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desired certifications: Security+, A+, Network+, CAP, CASP+, Cisco (CCNA), CISSPKnowledge and/or experience with NIST SP 800-series RMF framework and guidelines.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with RSA Archer and ALM’s Jira

  • Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience

  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results

  • Comfort working with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities

  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing demands
