Full Job Description
The Director, Partnerships & Alliances & would be responsible for building meaningful relationships at the highest levels within the healthcare eco-system. This is a strategic, customer-facing role with significant client adoption expectations driven by value proposition and revenue generation for the organization. Prospect and close new business in a defined business vertical, identifying new opportunities and selling across all four verticals (provider, plan, pharma, wellness). Secure MSAs with new clients negotiating, price, term, scope, etc. Coordinate all sales resource needs (technical, legal, consulting and financial) as needed to support closing deals. Support recently closed partnerships for defined period of time to complete implementation and grow revenue through additional upselling within the customer.
- This will be a remote position with options to work in the MN or CA office.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Partnerships and effectively communicate and influence with the extended leadership team and cross verticals. &
Build and execute on active roadmap and pipeline for strategic commercial partnerships in various healthcare verticals.&
Drive collaboration with sales, product, channels, and all other support functions to execute against the primary focus of driving market moving partnerships &
Develop and manage relationships internally as well as within your respective territory&
Elevate the visibility of mPulse as the digital engagement partner of choice for the HCLS Industry &
Collaborate with customers, employees, and product management to shape the evolution of the mPulse engagement platform&
Engage with top partner prospects to support planning, provide partnership models, selling models, and provide industry expertise and strategy in key sales opportunities &
Influence solutions creation to help educate and enable sales, presales, and customer success team&
Engage with key partners on targeted accounts and regional engagement strategies aligned with partnership revenue target &
Ability to Present and engage our partnership messaging at discussions industry events&
Prospect, identify, qualify, and close new partnership, sales opportunities &
Create enterprise level proposals, contracts, and value assessments&
Present to C-level executives and manage complex sales-cycles &
Build account plans and strategies for each target account&
Creatively identify new ROI-driven use cases &
Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through quarterly business reviews and weekly forecast calls&
Create professional deliverable to mPulse executive team as we transition to a solution-based approach: Current vs. Future process of selling and deploying solutions at mPulse &
Increase client logos and margins by deploying future process based on achieving highest operational yield (repeatable internal processes) and highest revenue yield (repeatable business opportunities)&
Work with product, marketing, and client engagement teams to prepare presentations and related client facing documents, proposals, often times newly developed and unique to partnership including pricing models & Desired Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
MBA, MHA, or equivalent highly preferred &
Experience in SaaS preferred&
Experience building partnerships in the Healthcare Industry (payers, providers, hospitals/IDN, wellness) & LifeSciences (Pharma, MES, CDMS) &
5 years direct partnership experience in a quota-carrying role in the software / technology sector&
Sophisticated knowledge of the healthcare market including deep understanding for how health plans and health system/delivery networks operation, generate revenue and serve customers/patients/members &
Proven track record of developing and closing new business including sales cycle management and forecasting in Salesforce&
Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and other business software &
Willingness and ability to travel approximate 50%& Minimum Experience: &
Bachelor s Degree in Business, healthcare or other related field &
Minimum of 10 years direct sales and/or partnerships/channels experience specific to HealthCare & LifeSciences (HCLS)&
Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles at all organizational levels &
Track record of success in carrying a quota of $1m at a minimum &
Experience selling into the healthcare environment (payers, providers, hospitals/IDN, wellness)&
Knowledge in: Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel &
