Housekeeper/Guest Relations - Beyonder Camp - Center Point, IA

Beyonder Camp operates RV parks, Campgrounds, and Marinas which are fun and exciting places to visit.

Beyonder Camp is actively seeking seasonal, part-time and full-time team members to join us at Beyonder Getaway at Lazy Acres in Centerville, Iowa. The Housekeeping team is critical to the successful operation of our hospitality operation at this amenity rich and fun RV Campground. We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages, or security issues
• Handle reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and inform others when required
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Stock shelves and inventory store items
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Handle reservations on the reservation software and over the phone
• Assist customers with issues like reservations or golf cart rentals

Skills

· Ability to work independently and remain motivated

• Helpful with customer service orientation
• Prioritizations and time management skills
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• Knowledge of English language
• High school Diploma
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check (required to maintain our PCI compliance for this position)
• No felony convictions (certain misdemeanor convictions will affect eligibility for employment
• Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license
• This is a drug-free workplace. No current/recent use of controlled/illicit substances
• Polite, courteous, and friendly demeanor
• This position does require availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This position will require the applicant to stand for extended periods of time, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and walk distances up to 1,000 feet
