Job Purpose
Supports company quality objectives by inspecting product upon receipt, conducting product and process verification tasks to provide overall quality assurance assistance.
Mission
Performs Material Inspection to Ensure Compliance with Specifications

  • Selects and utilizes appropriate measurement techniques, tools, and equipment to perform dimensional, material, and visual inspection verification of incoming product for compliance to engineering drawings, standards, and specifications
  • Manages incoming inspection product flow and aging to meet corporate turn time objectives
  • Reports inspection findings on Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and PPA’s as needed. Uploads and manages appropriate documentation is corporate quality documentation system.
  • Enters CAPAs for nonconforming products and collaborates with the Quality Engineer’s to determine actions moving forward to resolve the product issue.
  • Supports global quality inspections through communication of quality procedures, standards and technical support for determining product conformance.
  • Inspects all returned goods (RGAs) for defects/damages, processes returned good authorizations and makes product disposition decisions.

  • Attends educational workshops and networking opportunities
  • Reviews professional publications

Qualifications
Requirements include a two year degree from a college or technical school and two years of related quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Learning and understanding our products and inspection methods and capabilities. Learning and understanding our systems used to maintain our inspection documentation.

Driving the task due date through discussion with who is assigning the task. Providing due date targets to internal customers.

48hr or less OTD incoming inspection.
