Tribute Eatery & Bar is COMING SOON to Coralville and is NOW HIRING COOKS! We are a full service bar and restaurant with a from scratch kitchen located right across the street from the new Xtream Arena!

Tribute Eatery & Bar is searching for hospitality focused individuals to join our kitchen family. If you have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and are dedicated to your craft. We want you!

The Job

• Prepare food from our eclectic menu, which is all done in house. ” Scratch Kitchen”
• Know and complies consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
• Provides “excellent quality” and “presentation” of all food to the guests while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Your Experience: What we’re looking for

• Experience not required but a positive attitude is.
• Ability to multi task under pressure and the ability to establish a positive rapport with many types of personalities.
• Exceptional communication skills- ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
