Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services toour partnerhospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC’s testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

MVRBC is searching for a strong leader to support our mobile and fixed site blood collection teams in the Cedar Rapids area.

As Manager, Donor Services you will provide daily supervisor and direction to the assigned team ensuring appropriate staffing levels, development through coaching and mentoring, and staff counseling. You will also work closely with internal and external partners to promote blood drive success and compliance to all regulatory requirements.

What you should bring to the team:

• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Enjoy working with the public
• Have a good, stable work history
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
