Role Overview
This position will lead a team consisting of architectural, electrical, and mechanical planners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling and coordination of planning efforts for major projects as well as small jobs which can include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC etc.

Work closely with the customer to ensure timeliness and satisfaction of the task/project

Quickly mediate issues as they arise between planning and execution teams
-
Coach team members on difficult performance discussions, success plans and corrective actions
-
Partner with facilities leadership to highlight efficiency gains, industry trends, concerns and improvement recommendations
-
Understand and exhibit EHS rules and requirements
-
Facilitate employee training to ensure all mandatory training is completed on time and identify needed training deficiencies among all direct reports

Ensures Corporate and site policies and procedures are communicated, adhered to and understood by all employees
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

US Citizenship Required

Experience in facilities, consulting, and/or construction management

Ideal candidate will have experience working with municipal inspectors

Collaborative and team oriented

Decisive and action oriented
Preferred:

Experience coaching and collaborating with multiple trades
-
Experience with conflict resolution in the work environment
-
Interpreting HR policies and consulting employees and leaders on policies

Managing or working with or under a collective bargaining unit agreement
