The Master Data and Data Conversions team has an immediate need for a business analyst willing to bring their unique perspectives in solving business problems, performing data conversions, and designing master data processes in support of business strategies that drive manufacturing. This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide full life cycle support of IT products for product data maintenance, environmental health & safety solutions and global trade management.

  • Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

  • Understand day-to-day Manufacturing Operations.

  • Assist with enterprise systems design, ensuring alignment with solutions and technology roadmaps.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements. Has system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components.

  • Define, test, train, implement, and support Master Data & Factory Solutions products

  • Perform business analysis of systems and follows through the full development life cycle.

  • Coordinate, implement, and communicate system change requirements.

  • May solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Moderate level of knowledge on SAP Material Master, Bills of Materials, Routes, and Work Center objects.

  • Moderate level of knowledge on SAP ECC 6.0 table structures and relationship to logistics master data functionality.

  • HazMat Knowledge and/ or REACH.

  • Moderate level of knowledge on FTD / GTM (Foreign Trade Data / Global Trade Data).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and product master data.

  • Has understanding of ITSM and IT Service Management.

  • Use of MS Excel, WinShuttle, Access, SQL or other Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) programs.

  • Demonstrates the ability to provide a logical, in-depth analysis of a problem or situation.

  • Demonstrates the ability to develop relationships with others that are based on trust and deliver concise and articulate communication.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing process a plus.
