Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist – Heartland Hearing Center – Cedar Rapids, IA

Heartland Hearing Center in Hiawatha, IA is seeking for an energetic and motivated individual to manage the front office and represent our practice with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Heartland Hearing Center provides excellent hearing care and pleasant experiences with compassion and honesty to our patients. This is an hourly paying position depending on experience with opportunities for performance bonuses.We are looking for a warm, friendly individual that shines on the phone and in person to create a positive first impression. The ability to build rapport, support patients, answer questions, problem solve and convert phone calls to appointments with authenticity is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and administers all functions within the office
• Ensure excellent customer service in person and on the phone
• Manage the clinic schedule and patient accounts
• Support our audiologists by handling administrative functions
• Maintain a variety of clinical documentation and patient confidentiality

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working in a professional or medical environment with direct customer service is desired

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
