Job Summary:

This position is for a Principle Specialist within the Service Parts Pricing Team. The Service Parts Pricing Team is responsible for developing sell prices for piece parts and sub-assemblies required for maintenance of Collins Aerospace equipments. The team also develops prices for Service Bulletins, Technical Service Procedures, Rental-Exchange, and CASP. This position will utilize knowledge of various pricing methodologies and cost estimating techniques in an effort to develop sell prices. Position will perform daily activities, and also lead larger pricing activities for the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops Service Parts prices used to quote external customers through Customer Response Center and Rockwell Collins Service Centers, and for use by international Rockwell Collins locations.
  • Leads development of annual Service Parts and R/E Catalogs.
  • Performs pricing activity for moderately complex customer requests.
  • Works with LCVSM and Proposal Managers to coordinate pricing for proposal activity.
  • Develops Rental-Exchange and CASP pricing.
  • Develops pricing for Service Bulletins and Technical Service Procedures (TSP’s).
  • Performs intellectual property valuations for Service Bulletin software items.
  • Performs a detailed analysis of the cost estimates and all assumptions utilized in developing pricing. Identifies the related risks and opportunities.
  • May prepare financial summaries that help the business team understand the merits of the new business deal.
  • Will assist in the training of other Pricing Specialists.
  • Leads various project activities
  • Expected to utilize Continuous Improvement tools to improve efficiencies of daily activities. Participates in Continuous Improvement Event activities.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve tools utilized by the team or department.
  • Successfully utilizes pricing strategies.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • MS Excel proficient including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
  • MS PowerPoint-PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in financial analysis role
  • Experience with large data sets
  • SAP Business Warehouse experience
  • Adaptability to manage multiple and varied tasks
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
