Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, returned to ICR IOWA five years ago after spending nearly ten years working in media relations and communications for the Shedd Aquarium and Choose Chicago (Chicago's Tourism & Visitor Bureau) in Chicago. Now Communications Manger at the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, I am proud to get to work everyday as part of the growth and progress of my hometown. I am married and a mother to one little dynamo of a 3-year old daughter, I am a big advocate of animal rescue and simply adore our rescue dog named Marvin.
